Linear power suppliesFor some time we've had clients asking us for linear power supplies for their VortexBoxes. Now that we've introduced the Sonicorbiter & microRendu, the level of inquiry has increased.

We've been looking for a good Australian made product for ages, one that had the necessary certifications & we recently found Gieseler Audio. We are using their power supplies now with our personal equipment & are pleased to recommend them.

As power supplies are heavy, in order to save our clients from effectively paying twice for freight, we've arranged with them to drop ship the power supplies straight to you. This means you place your order with us & we will order the power supply for you & Gieseler Audio will ship it straight you. They are quite quick, we received ours within 3 days of order.

We've been supplying a couple of low priced USB DACs for a while but have wanted to offer some better quality USB DACs to our clients. So after some research, we are now offering the Australian made Klein USB DACs from Gieseler Audio.

Backup hard drivesMost of us have a lot of data on our VortexBoxes & know that we should back it all up in case of disaster.

We're please to supply a range of backup hard drives, ranging in capacity from 2 terabytes to 20 terabytes. They use a USB3 connection for the fastest backup & are preconfigured to work with your VortexBox. They will work with the older VortexBoxes that only have USB2 ports as well as the later ones that have USB3.

We are strong advocates of using a cabled network when streaming music or video around the home as wireless networks are more prone to interruptions in the flow of data, which leads to a less than optimal payback of our music or video.

However, we recognise that sometimes there is no other option than wireless networking. We've found a good USB wireless network adaptor, you can check it out at the bottom of this page here.
